DEVELOPER FORUM, San Francisco, Aug. 23, 2005 - Sinosun Technology
introduced its Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 Security Solution
to support Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Standard 1.2 at the
IDF 2005 in San Francisco.
Sinosun is the only independent supplier to offer its own comprehensive
hardware and software solution compliant with both the TCG Standard
1.2 and Chinese security standards. Its TPM security solution
features secure chip hardware, a complete suite of embedded
security and TPM system management utilities as well as application
software, which simplify data protection through practices such
as file and folder encryption protected with hardware-based
key generation and storage.
According to Mike Tian, Sinosun's Chief Marketing Officer, "The
TPM 1.2 specification is a hardware platform basis on which
to build secure solutions, such as to generate asymmetric encryption/decryption
key pairs, execute data encryption and decryption, protect users'
sensitive data, recognize and prevent unauthorized access to
stored data on computers and networks. In addition to support
TCG Standard 1.2, Sinosun's TPM is also in compliance with the
security standards of Chinese government. Since Chinese government
has implemented strict laws and regulations on security and
encryption related products, PC manufacturers benefit a lot
from Sinosun's TPM solutions to market their TPM enabled PCs
legally and cost-effectively in both China and worldwide."
Sinosun's TPM security solution has won design wins with most
of the China-based PC OEMs and many multi-national ODMs. Major
Chinese computer manufacturers, such as Tong Fang, Greatwall
and Founder, are already using Sinosun's TPM solution in their
business computers. More information on Sinosun's TPM solution
is available at: www.sinosun.com.cn.
Sinosun
presents its Trusted Platform Module solution at the IDF 2005
(August 23, to August 25, 2005) at the Moscone Center West
in San Francisco, CA, US.
About TCG
The Trusted Computing Group (TCG), with more than 100 member
companies, is an open, industry standards organization formed
to develop, define, and promote open standards for hardware-enabled
trusted computing and security technologies, including hardware
building blocks and software interfaces, across multiple platforms,
peripherals, and devices. TCG specifications enable more secure
computing environments without compromising functional integrity,
privacy, or individual rights. The primary goal is to help
users protect their information assets (data, passwords, keys,
etc.) from compromise due to external software attack and
physical theft. Further information on Trusted Computing Group
(TCG) is available at www.trustedcomputinggroup.org.
